We plan to hold a fundraising event for Hebron in the Philippines on the 7th November so please save the date! The plan is to base ourselves at Speers Point Park, from where people can engage in a walk, bike ride or kayaking activity of their choice and then enjoy a BBQ lunch together. There will be an entry fee and prizes for personal best times/ costumes/teams etc. It should be lots of fun and will assist our mission partners at Hebron. For those who may wish to donate prior to this event, please reference electronic giving or mark an envelope in the offering.

“Hold firmly to the word of life; then, on the day of Christ’s return, I will be proud that I did not run the race in vain and that my work was not useless.” Phil 2:16
I watched some of the TV show, the Ninja Warrior. They were an amazing group of athletes who had tremendous strength and agility in making their way through the courses. They all had amazing grip strength as the held onto robes, and small ledges endeavouring to hang and make it through to the next round.
Paul says that we are to have that same tenacity and determination as we hold on firmly to the Word of life. We need to hang onto Jesus and the Good News of the Gospel in all that life brings into our path. We can be so tempted to let go of what we believe through the course of the life and the pressures that come. Yet it is the Gospel that gives us the strength and comfort we need to face the challenges that so often confront us in life.
Hang onto God’s Word. Read it, meditate on it, and embrace with every fibre of your being. Do this through the joyful times of life, as well as the times that you have to struggle through. For it is when we are hanging onto the Word of Life and God can most powerfully strengthen us.

Welcome to the Warners Bay Baptist Church website. We, the church, are glad you have taken the time to have a look at the web site and would like to invite you along to one of our church services.
We are a Baptist church that has about 70-110 people attend on a Sunday morning. Our congregation has a mixture of young families, middle aged people and older people.
Our services are contemporary in style with a band leading the music portion of our worship service. Within our worship services we also have prayer, Bible readings and someone talking about how the Bible relates to us in our world today. Our services are structured and the people are relaxed and engaged in what is happening.
You can join our 9.00 am service via live stream and connect to our evening service via Zoom. You can connect to the evening Zoom service here. Zoom password details will be emailed to the congregation.
