                                                                                  FROM THE PASTOR

“Devote yourselves to prayer with an alert mind and a thankful heart.” Colossians 4:2

Prayer reminds us that we are not in control and that we find it hard to see a way out of the issues we are dealing with. God wants us to pray and invites us to pray. Jesus isn’t surprised by the situations we find ourselves in, but wants us to pray for His help, guidance, strength, wisdom, and intervention.

When we come to prayer Paul says to come with an alert mind. In other words, come with a purpose and know what to pray for. Also, we are to come with a thankful heart.

There is always faith and trust when we come to Christ with a thankful heart.

Whatever the situations we find yourselves in, trust with a thankful heart that He will answer in the right way. In a way that brings glory to God and builds up our faith and relationship with Him.

Have a great day in the Lord this week.

Next Ride: TBA

Welcome to the Warners Bay Baptist Church website. We, the church, are glad you have taken the time to have a look at the web site and would like to invite you along to one of our church services.

We are a Baptist church that has about 70-110 people attend on a Sunday morning. Our congregation has a mixture of young families, middle aged people and older people.

Our services are contemporary in style with a band leading the music portion of our worship service. Within our worship services we also have prayer, Bible readings and someone talking about how the Bible relates to us in our world today. Our services are structured and the people are relaxed and engaged in what is happening.

You can also join us via Zoom at 9:15 am and 5:45 pm on Sunday for our church services.

(You will be sent a meeting invitation via your email address.)
