FROM THE PASTOR
“Tell everyone to sit down,” Jesus said. So they all sat down on the grassy slopes (The men alone numbered about 5000.) Then Jesus took the loaves, gave thanks to God, and distributed them to the people. Afterwards they did the same with the fish. And they all at as much as they wanted.” John 6:10-11
Jesus demonstrates his love for the people who had nothing to eat. They had been listening to Jesus speaking and hungry for the spiritual food he was giving out. Jesus also knew they needed some food for their bodies. The physical needs that we all feel. Jesus didn’t ignore these needs. He cared for the crowd. He fed them to the point that they ate all they wanted.
God created and loves each of us. He knows we have physical needs that need to be met. Food, shelter, education and access to medical services. Jesus met the needs through the hands of the disciples. Jesus was the provider, and the disciples were the distributors of the food.
As Christians we are called to share God’s love by sharing our faith in Jesus, and also demonstrating God’s love with the physical needs that people may not be able to provide.
As Christians we have the privileged position of being used by the Lord to share faith, food, and care to those in need.
Have a great week in the Lord

Welcome to the Warners Bay Baptist Church website. We, the church, are glad you have taken the time to have a look at the web site and would like to invite you along to one of our church services.
We are a Baptist church that has about 70-110 people attend on a Sunday morning. Our congregation has a mixture of young families, middle aged people and older people.
Our services are contemporary in style with a band leading the music portion of our worship service. Within our worship services we also have prayer, Bible readings and someone talking about how the Bible relates to us in our world today. Our services are structured and the people are relaxed and engaged in what is happening.
You can join our 9.30am service and evening service via Zoom. You can connect to the 9.30am service hereand the evening Zoom service here. Contact the church for the Zoom ID and passcodes. Zoom passcode details are emailed to the congregation.
