FROM THE PASTOR
“I passed on to you what was most important and what had also been passed on to me. Christ died for our sins, just as the Scriptures said. He was buried, and he was raised from the dead on the third day, just as the Scriptures said.” 1 Cor. 15:3-4
Easter Sunday, or resurrection Sunday is such an important day because it reminds us that Jesus did rise from the dead and is now alive, eternal in heaven. In our world where death is such a final state for many people to think that there is life after death seems so improbable. Yet it is true! Jesus proved it with his own death and resurrection.
Without the resurrection of Jesus there is no Christian faith, or assurance of heaven, or even of a close relationship with God on earth. Christianity is either the best faith in the world because we can have a close relationship with the living God, or the worst religion in the world that has deceived millions over the years with a false hope of heaven and grace.
I know, many know that Jesus did rise from the dead. Peter saw it, the disciples saw him, over 500 people saw Jesus alive and so did Paul. Not only that but there have been millions of people around the world experience and know the truth of the living Christ in their lives.
Let us celebrate the living Christ in our lives each and every day, not just today.

Welcome to the Warners Bay Baptist Church website. We, the church, are glad you have taken the time to have a look at the web site and would like to invite you along to one of our church services.
We are a Baptist church that has about 70-110 people attend on a Sunday morning. Our congregation has a mixture of young families, middle aged people and older people.
Our services are contemporary in style with a band leading the music portion of our worship service. Within our worship services we also have prayer, Bible readings and someone talking about how the Bible relates to us in our world today. Our services are structured and the people are relaxed and engaged in what is happening.
You can join our 9.30am service via live stream and connect to our evening service via Zoom. You can connect to the evening Zoom service here. Zoom password details will be emailed to the congregation.
