                                                                                 FROM THE PASTOR

“Listen! It’s the voice of someone shouting, ‘Clear the way through the wilderness for the Lord! Make a straight highway through the wasteland for our God. Fill in the valleys, and level the mountains and hills. Straighten the curves, and smooth out the rough places. Then the glory of the Lord will be revealed, and all people will see it together. The Lord has spoken!” Isaiah 40:3-5

This was the prophecy for the ministry of John the Baptist as his calling started. John preached that people should come and repent of their sins and be baptised. John was preparing the way for Jesus. He had been called by the Lord for this very purpose even before he was born.

God was intimately involved in the birth and calling of John to be the prophet that would set the groundwork for the coming ministry of the Messiah. John’s birth was a miracle as his parents were old and past the time of being able to conceive. The Holy Spirit was on the life of John, even as he was conceived.

All these events point to the importance and significance of the coming of Jesus to the world as the Saviour Messiah.

Have a great week in the Lord!!!

Welcome to the Warners Bay Baptist Church website. We, the church, are glad you have taken the time to have a look at the web site and would like to invite you along to one of our church services.

We are a Baptist church that has about 70-110 people attend on a Sunday morning. Our congregation has a mixture of young families, middle aged people and older people.

Our services are contemporary in style with a band leading the music portion of our worship service. Within our worship services we also have prayer, Bible readings and someone talking about how the Bible relates to us in our world today. Our services are structured and the people are relaxed and engaged in what is happening.

Please access YouTube Warners Bay Baptist Church Channel where you can enjoy recorded messages and music.

You can join our 9.00 am service via live stream and connect to our evening service via Zoom. You can connect to the evening Zoom service here. Zoom password details will be emailed to the congregation.

For the livestream YouTube morning church service (9.30am Sunday, 29th Nov, 2020) just click HERE or on the link below

Church services are currently held in the church building on Sunday at 9am and 6pm.
