Welcome to the Warners Bay Baptist Church website. We, the church, are glad you have taken the time to have a look at the web site and would like to invite you along to one of our church services.
We are a Baptist church that has about 70-110 people attend on a Sunday morning. Our congregation has a mixture of young families, middle aged people and older people.
Our services are contemporary in style with a band leading the music portion of our worship service. Within our worship services we also have prayer, Bible readings and someone talking about how the Bible relates to us in our world today. Our services are structured and the people are relaxed and engaged in what is happening.
“We now have this light shining in our hearts, but we ourselves are like fragile clay jars containing this great treasure. This makes it clear that our great power is from God, not from ourselves.” 2 Corinthians 4:7
If you follow Jesus, then God has a call on your life. He has called you to be his witness in the world you live in. This can sound hard, daunting, or even impossible. Yet when God calls you, he knows our weaknesses, and our frailty. The ability to serve God and to be his witness comes from Him. The challenge is not to live as though we are on our own, but to continue to trust in him as we serve and live in this world.
As the passage says, ‘the great power is from God, not from ourselves’. As we live and serve, allow God to work through you rather than burning out with exhaustion because you have tried to do it all in our own strength.
